The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 里面提到了由默片向有声电影的过渡期，展现出了做默片的电影人的窘境，让人想到了那个法国电影《艺术家》（仅为个人切入角度）。

确实是一个时代的终结了。Mary说Matthew像童话中的王子的时候，真的好伤心。《雨中曲》+《独领风骚》但是起码也没觉得招人烦。希望每个人都幸福。

火炬从女性被传给女性，真的没法不爱唐顿这个善待每一个人的美好童话。很佩服编剧，回忆12年来所有的电视剧和电影剧情，Mary和祖母的相似真是呼之欲出：虽然渴望冒险，但一定不会背叛自己的原则和责任。美中不足的是马修·古迪的缺席啊，上一部迈着长腿冲上楼梯和Mary相拥的镜头我可以看100遍。
