Women He's Undressed is a cinema length documentary that explores the life of Australia's most prolific costume designer. Until now Orry-Kelly has been unacknowledged in his country of birth and pretty well forgotten in the adopted country of his greatest success. During the boom years of Hollywood he was the costume designer on an astonishing 282 motion pictures. He designed for the stars like Marilyn Munroe, Bette Davis, Humphrey Bogart, Rosalind Russell, Errol Flynn and many more of the immortals. His films included Some Like It Hot, Casablanca, An American in Paris and Now, Voyager. Orry-Kelly (Jack to his friends) won three Academy Awards and was nominated for a fourth. Orry-Kelly was Head of Warner Brothers Costume Department during the richest period of American film, the establishment of the dream factory and its effect on mass culture. 我觉得加菲是我今年看过的所有歌舞片里最好的非音乐剧出身的演员了，不过他和希普的声音还是跟哈金斯没法比。
四星有两星都是感情分。前一个小时那叫一个剪得乱和着急，但是让人又哭又笑也是少有的本事。I hope you will be as happy as our cruel world allows. 👏🏼

片中有很多眼熟的音乐剧演员献唱，但轮到加菲就断崖式下跌。
电影还行吧。但乔纳森的经历更让我触动，他在《吉屋出租》开演之前就去世了，这让他成为一位最纯粹的艺术家和理想主义者。
近年来为数不多的好歌舞片之一 加菲卖力卖唱 LMM delivers a stellar show (okay I do wonder how much breaking the fourth wall with musical numbers makes this piece less of a film)
每看一强行凹出了情节故事线，英国人钟爱的happy ending
看完之后完全理解了LMM为啥不拍自己写的剧却要来拍这个传记作品了，这是知音的灵魂碰撞，也是艺术家前后辈间的传承。Respect.
半自传式呈现音乐剧作家的艺术人生。故事和音乐都不太出色。
有的时候你离梦想真的只差一点点。改编得非常动人，形式不算新颖，但基本上把百老汇能带给人的观感在银幕上呈现出来，好几处的音乐真的能把人的情绪推到极致。加菲真的是多才多艺！
也不只是国内有年龄焦虑要三十而立结婚生子，还是不要太逼自己在什么时间点之前扬名立万的好吧，电影原型后来的作品被认可但他三十五岁生病死掉了都没看见自己的成绩。电影是很可以引起浑浑噩噩的三十岁人的共鸣，什么时候能看到希望呀？可是加菲唱歌不太好诶。。。
很是羡慕，生活中的一切都可以作为passion的一页篇章，或有遗憾与伤心，本可以抓住更多的时间去珍惜所有。Tick tick，曲终了…
终于，全都结束了（看的居然是未删节Tomas剧情的版本，非常喜欢老妇人最后一句话，幽默、饱满、没有遗憾，也让还不能接纳死亡的我无比伤感）
初代人物的渐渐落幕大概也预示着这部剧的尾声，群像依旧出色（群演拍电影那段真的很泪）。巴罗这个初代反派终于走到了故事结尾，却被名正言顺的剪的莫名其妙？？？只能当给情怀补票了！！
