The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 现在看四十年前的人们好有礼节，反抗的如此温文尔雅。片中的美国黑人已经思想解放敢想敢干了。认准的路就要一直走下去，不要奢求对手仁慈。
任何一个同性恋都会有共情，都会被感动的片子。虽然很俗套，但是谁不想有人为自己这样挺身而出？
最终以争取黑人民主自由运动落下帷幕。
包容和接纳才是进步
层层压迫，错的不是同性恋也不是女性，错的是这个世界（男权社会）。
好像很多事都是这样，这世界也是这样，不是非黑即白的。
这个世界有很多种不平等，种族不平等是他妈最荒谬的！

发生在青春期的纠结与撕扯。

自由的代价高昂，这部电影在冲突中走向共识，底层人民的握手言和却无法让上层满意，因为他们要的就是冲突来巩固他们的统治。内奸的戏份对于剧情来说有些许多余，但依照事实改编，可能也无可奈何。
“没见过这么多不怕死的人质，个个都是戏精。”关于南非的风土人情的介绍很给力。控诉了种族隔离的制度。把钻石之城介绍给了世界。
男主眼睛好漂亮，蓝色鱼缸前的吻戏我真的狠狠心动，少女幻想和现实阻碍还是有落差啊，应该是开放式结局吧？不知道男女主有没有he
结尾很奇妙的升华了主题，爱真的是美好的不分性别的情感。遗憾，谎言，背叛，又或是死亡，好青春啊。
影片场景设置有一定特点，整个剧情的发展设置在一个银行圆形大厅里，类似就像设置了一个舞台，剧情的推进也基本以舞台剧的方式，围绕着这个中心的场景发展。
白左立场的电影，劫持人质的暴徒被美化，曼德拉被释放并当选，成功把南非带出发达国家行列
自由主义爽片，概念没问题，但是剪辑节奏和转折都太理所当然了，好多人物都很有问题…
