The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 故事完成度及格，属于看一半就知道后头是啥剧情的对小朋友观众友好的动画片。
陪KD看动画，这是一部用理想和热情一个劲释放正能量的动画片，应该是蛮适合小孩子的。我觉得我和里面那只早上起不来，对生活漫无目的，只想得过且过混日子的怪物简直一模一样……
很明显要拍第二部，教练和摔跤手的父亲失踪从前贯彻到尾，把这么一个伏笔写得明明白白，第二部再找回他们的父亲呗，非要这部电影里反复提，导致观影体验极差，就像是在告诉你:这部电影一般，你得等到下一部，看他们找父亲的桥段才是惊喜。本来就亮点比较少，这么一整，更难看进去了。

母亲在签售会上看到自己的女儿来到现场，老泪纵横，跟书迷承认，自己写爱的时候，比自己处理爱的事情要灵活…
典型的美式励志片，剧情与画风都带有浓郁的好莱坞风格，或是文化差异，国人对于不屈不饶的主题认可，不过却很难取得共鸣。仅就观赏价值而言，也适合一家老小围坐在电视前共看，获取到些许的快乐。

根据真实事件改编。作为奥斯威辛的幸存者，身为拳击手的哈夫特为活命，拳下曾打死了数十个犹太同胞，也让已在美国的他背上了沉重的负担。这个故事波兰拍成了电影《冠军》，聚焦于哈夫特在集中营的生活，而此剧重点在其美国生活。总体来说，波兰版本更为单纯，更为集中，也更具张力。加拿大版拍得像个传记片，太散了，什么都想要，平均用力，让影片显得啰嗦。前半段还不错，后面让人实在提不起精神。
